To beer, or not to beer? It’s not much of a question. Here in South Australia we’ve long had a rich love affair with the world’s oldest alcoholic beverage.
And here at Lemon Lighthouse Productions we’re excited to announce that we have again been recruited to produce a short film for SA Tourism. And this one is all about that delicious amber nectar we love so much.
The new production follows on from the success of A Dream - a film which profiled Adelaide’s beautiful east end, and was released in April 2013 as part of SA Tourism’s ‘Through Local Eyes’ campaign.
Principal photography on the latest short will begin in late September and will be produced in conjunction with Dirty Scholar Productions. John de Jong is set to direct, with our very own Tom Stewart back behind the camera as Director of Photography.
The film will showcase Adelaide’s burgeoning micro-brewery scene and will be aimed at attracting domestic and international tourists, as well as Adelaide locals to explore some of the many wonders that South Australia’s independent Micro-brewers have to offer.
So if you’re planning a trip to the Adelaide hills sometime soon to sample our world famous wine, and your thinking about adding a few breweries to your itinerary as well - well be sure to keep an eye our for our latest film when it releases next year.
It’s sure to get you inspired and to cure what ales ya!

A little sneak peak and teaser for everybody that contributed to get A Dirty Scholarship off the ground. We’re deep into post-production now and hoping to have our finished film ready to deliver in April 2013.
